The Fairfield Museum presents a holiday collection of blackrosegallery ArtCards.
Not your usual greeting card!
Unlike other artists or photographers Patri Feher doesn't simply slap a snapshot on blank card stock or run off postcard sized press reproductions of a larger painting! These are giclee edition art prints made by the artist herself in limited quantity on hotpress watercolor paper. And "Art Card" is not an exaggeration! The frame-worthy imprints are scored invisibly, when folded, fit into an elegant Baronial style envelope.

Patri Feher of Fairfield is a photoartist exploring an emerging medium, "scanography" over the past decade. Also known as "scanner photography", a flatbed scanner is used to capture objects and flowers as if it were a large format camera. The holiday ArtCards put a new twist on festive seasonal flowers and wintry subject matter.
