A Romantic Dinner at Home
Not going out this weekend? Enjoy a delicious and romantic dinner at home.

Tagliolini with Shrimp and Asparagus
Serves 4
Work time 30 minutes

Ingredients
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 bunch of asparagus tips (about 2 cups)
1 pound medium shrimp (about 30), peeled, and deviened
1/5 teaspoon of hot red pepper flakes
salt
3 tablespoons softened butter
1 cup dry white wine
1 pound dried tagliolini
¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Bring a large pot of water to boil.
2. In a large skillet heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the garlic, let it cook until golden, about 30 seconds, and discard it.
4. Add the Asparagus and cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add the shrimp, pepper flakes, pinch of salt and continue cooking
for 3 minutes, tossing constantly until the shrimp are bright pink and
firm to the touch.
6. Add wine and butter and allow to cook for 2 more minutes
7. Salt the boiling water, add the pasta, and cook for 6-8 minutes, or
until al dente. Drain well in colander

8. Toss the pasta with asparagus and shrimp mixture and add the
Parmesan, and toss well.
9. Transfer to a serving platter and enjoy!
