Whether your preference is electronic or paper, here is your latest link to what’s great on the shelves, recommended Suzy style of girlfriend to girlfriend.  Check out these titles and if nothing else, add them to your to-do list and make the time to get yourself and those around you into the joyous world of reading. There is nothing better than a great book you can pay forward. And to give you even more incentive to read these titles, Arcade Books is offering a 20% discount to Suzy readers when they come in and mention that they saw the deal on Suzy. And if you have any books you'd like to recommend for this series, we'd love to hear about them! We want to make this as interactive as possible.

So here is our inaugural book review: This is Where I Leave You Every novel does not have to be a life lesson; simply, if it makes you laugh out loud it’s worth the time.  Jonathon Tropper's latest book, This is Where I Leave You, is the hysterical journey into the ironic life of a dysfunctional family.  Judd Foxman has hit rock bottom - his wife cheated with his boss, he quit his job, lives in a basement, and his terminally ill father has recently died. He must now return home and participate in the tradition of Shiva, spending a full week in mourning, with a family he can barely stand. It is the classic story of a broken family and the chance to find a way back together, with copious amounts of humor to cushion the ride. Tropper is a Westchesterite who has written numerous not to miss books. He writes what we are thinking, sans censor and full of self-doubt, expertly walking the thin line between hilarity and angst.  Relationship revelations yes, but the true gift of this book is Tropper’s shrewd observations of people, places and things around him.  You’re guaranteed to love The Foxman clan and wish that Shiva never ends.  Craving more? Make sure to pick up one of Tropper's earlier books, The Book of Joe, another winner.
