Little Shop of Horrors at Rye High
Wednesday, April 18, 2012

This campy musical starring an extraterrestrial plant with a man-eating appetite has been immortalized on Broadway and film. Now, on Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21, The Parsons Street Players will present its crowd-pleasing rendition of the cult classic LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at the High School Performing Arts Center.
Come see Audrey the plant grow from a tiny leafling to a stage-size, bloodthirsty specimen! Find out who she’s having for dinner! Sing along with the Doo-Wop girls! This not-to-be-missed performance is a rip-roaring feat of puppeteering and musical numbers from the touching “Suddenly Seymour” to the foot-stomping “Feed Me Seymour.” The show is directed by Peter Green and choreographed by Jimmy Locust.
Performances are Friday, April 20th at 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 21st at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. Adults $10, students $5 and senior citizens are free.
