Your Child Could Be a Teen Reporter
Madame Tussauds New York is hosting an open casting call in search of a new entertainment reporter for the award-winning national TV news show Teen/Kids News on Sunday, February 12 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Kids aged 13 to 19 are invited to audition at the attraction in the newly installed B&H Television Studio in the heart of Times Square.

Seated at a news desk amid wax figures of famous journalists such as Anderson Cooper, Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters, each applicant will be given the chance to read on-camera a pre-written 15-second story for a panel of judges. The producers of Teen/Kids News and Madame Tussauds will choose the teen who has the right stuff to become the show’s next entertainment reporter. The weekly half-hour program airs on more than 200 TV stations and is carried by educational channels to 12,600 schools.
