Do you know a talented kid that would love to sing at the 2011 US Open?
The United States Tennis Association is looking for kids 12 years of age or younger to audition to sing a musical composition as selected by the USTA at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center prior to a session of the 2011 US Open.
AUDITION DETAILS:
WHERE: Harlem's World Famous Apollo Theater, 253 West 125th Street, New York, NY 10027
WHEN: Tuesday, June 21, 2011
TIME: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST
WHAT: You will be asked to sing a cappella (without music) all or a portion of "America the Beautiful"
WHO: Legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia 12 years of age or younger as of September 11, 2011 (born on or after September 12, 1998)
WHAT TO BRING: Your singing voice, 2 forms of identification with date of birth, completed Liability and Publicity Release with parent/legal guardian signature, and your parent or legal guardian (those attending through a school program may be accompanied by a school official/chaperone)
SELECTION: Selection will be at the sole and absolute discretion of the USTA
