Back by popular demand, the Rye Library is offering Raw Foods Cooking Class - Weight Loss, Anti-Aging and Optimum Health, an introduction to a raw foods lifestyle on May 12 from 10-12. Come and learn about the raw foods diet and lifestyle. Allison Lee, certified raw foods chef and teacher will be demonstrating how to make raw food recipes with no dairy, processed sugar, flour or gluten. You will be amazed at the different, innovative and tasty ways to add more raw foods into your diet and into the diets of your children.
Raw Foods = Fruits, Vegetables, Nuts, Seeds and Sprouted grains eaten raw or cooked under 118 degrees. Samples and recipes will be distributed.
