There's nothing better then a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot and Suzy's got a few good ones for you!

The 40th Annual Pequot Runners 5 Mile T'Day Race - Thursday, November 23
Put on by the Pequot Runners is a local tradition that you won't want to miss. The race features 5 fast, scenic miles through Connecticut’s “Gold Coast” – or a 2.7 mile walk through beautiful Southport harbor. It starts at 8:15 AM, but you need to get there earlier. The later you arrive, the harder it is to find a parking spot.

Parking is available at the Southport train station parking lots, the Pequot Library, and various retail lots on the Post Road.

The 2017 New Canaan Turkey Trot - Sunday November 19
Get ready for Thanksgiving with a short run around New Canaan. The5 km course starts and finishies at Waveny Park. Post-race refreshments, embroidered hats available for $20 through November 14, $25 thereafter. Race day registration opens at 10:30AM. Pre-race check-in at New Balance New Canaan beginning Friday, November 18.

The 2017 Rowayton Turkey Trot - Thursday, November 23
Kicks off at the Rowayton Community Center on Thanksgiving morning at 9:30 AM - registration begins at 8:15AM. The course is a 5k and a one miler for kids and families

Preregister is $30 and day of event is $40
Kids under 17 are $10
Kids under 8 are free

The 17th Annual Shippan Turkey Trot - Thursday November 23
Takes place on Thanksgiving morning and this year's race is aiming to be the biggest yet with even more prizes, costumes and fun. The race festivities kick off from 280 Ocean Drive East - between Shippan and Fairview - on Thursday, November 24th at 9:30AM (Race starts at 10AM sharp.)

In lieu of a registration fee, donations of canned food, checks or cash will be accepted. All donations go to Stamford's Shelter for the Homeless. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
