A Yoga Mob at the Beach - UPDATE PLEASE READ BELOW
Friday, July 15, 2011

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED FROM THE BEACH TO A NEW LOCATION, CONTACT MERRI AT 914-715-1589 FOR DETAILS.
Something fun is brewing at Compo Beach on Sunday. M3Yoga is having a Yoga Flash Mob and wants you to spread the word. This fun event will be filmed and put on You Tube for all to see.
Here’s how it will work…
Once at the beach, act casual! Do regular beach things, sit in the sun, swim, eat an ice cream, build a sand castle… at precisely 4:00 PM. Merri Mueller will lay her towel out near the water, face the water, music will begin and she will start doing sun salutations (basic sun A, no jumpbacks, smooth and slow). Slowly “mobsters” will casually join in, without talking. We will all be moving in unison for the 1st song. When the second song starts we will do 5 poses in order in unison, each held for 20 seconds, 5 on R then 5 on L. (warrior I, warrior II, reversed warrior, side angle, triangle). Vinyasa in-between sides (sun A). After both sides, everyone will go into child’s pose… and then participants will silently walk away going back to what they were doing before. After about 30 minutes, head to the cannons for a post mob party.
When: Sunday July 17th at 4 PM SHARP
