There’s no question that the weekend after Thanksgiving is practically defined by bargain hunting and holiday shopping. Saturday, Nov. 26, is the second annual small business Saturday, sponsored by American Express. Shoppers are encouraged to patronize small shops and add local boutiques to their holiday shopping itinerary. Consider it a consumer driven, hyper-local stimulus package. Plenty of Westport shops will host sales and other holiday fun. And while you’re out, why not grab your pre-shopping coffee at a local spot?
