April Break
Tuesday, April 17, 2012

Another week long break for the kiddos is just around the corner, galpals. And if you’re planning on sticking around town, you might want to find something to keep the kids busy.
Fortunately, some of the area’s best kid venues are holding April break workshops, drop-ins and day camps designed to give moms a break and keep the kids happy.
Westport Historical Society – This four day camp runs from Monday, Apr. 16 through Thursday, Apr. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Kids 5 to 11 years of age will create kaleidoscopes, pinwheels and pocket toys. They’ll make rag dolls, play blindman’s bluff, marbles, hop-scotch, jump rope and bob for apples. They’ll play pretend, bake some delicious treats and do some yoga. It’s program that teaches kids about history through movement, music and play.
Space is limited. Call (203) 222-1424 to reserve a spot. Details are here.
