Spring is in full swing and it's time to dress up your garden. Two local Westport organizations feature their annual Garden and Plant sales this week. You'll find flowers, garden supplies plus expert advice on hand at these events.
Stop by the Westport Woman’s Club, May 7th from 9 AM – 3 PM and take advantage of the beautiful finds and great values at the WWC Annual Plant Sale. The sale will feature lovely flowering annuals and lush hanging baskets to grace your yard. There will also be a selection of vibrantly colored, long-blooming tropicals like mandevilla vine and hibiscus that will make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts. Browse through a selection of wrought iron garden stands, planters and gardening accessories. Experts will be on hand to share time-tested tips on how to deter deer and to answer your gardening questions. All merchandise will be sold at reasonable prices and proceeds go to support the philanthropic efforts of the Westport Woman’s Club.

The Westport Garden Club’s annual Plant Sale will be held May 11th, rain or shine, from 9 AM to 1 PM on the grounds of the Saugatuck Congregational Church. Featured this year is a bountiful selection of pretty and useful antique & collectible items in our Attic Treasures tent – ceramics, glassware, decorative items, books, etc. As always, hundreds of perennials will be offered, along with gardening-related items, floral arrangements, and tasty baked goods to help make your Mother’s Day celebration fun and easy.
