Bike the Beach

Bike the Beach on a picturesque route beginning at Jennings Beach in Fairfield. Follow the route through as many as five historic New England towns. All of the routes pass by scenic beaches.
All proceeds raised from Bike the Beach 2008 will be used to benefit people with developmental disabilities through the activities of the Probus Club of Greater Bridgeport and its support of other community organizations such as The Kennedy Center, Inc.
When: Sunday, September 14, 2008 ( No rain date)
Registration: starts at 7:00 a. m. and all riders must finish by 3:00 p. m.
In order to complete the route you need to begin by:

Challenging; flat to hilly
9:30 AM
45 Miles
Moderate; flat to rolling
10:30 AM
20 Miles
Easy; flat to rolling
11:30 AM
10 Miles
Easy; flat to rolling
Each Rider will Receive:
•Bike the Beach 2008 T-shirt to first 300 preregistered cyclists
•Detailed souvenir road map
•Fully stocked rest stops with rest rooms
•SAG wagon support
•Lunch after the tour
•Deluxe bicycle prize will be awarded to the person collecting the most pledges
•Much, much more
Pre-registration fee - $30 by August 31, 2008 or
Registration fee - $40 after August 31, 2008 or
Pledge Registration: Raise a minimum of $40 in prepaid pledges and ride free.
