You'll feel as good as she does when you help provide a Lumpectomy Kit for a low-income woman who's undergoing this procedure.
Quite often, post-op instructions are given by their MD to keep their eye on the incision, monitor their temperature to make sure infection does not develop and to take Tylenol for pain. Imagine yourself standing on the toilet to try to get a glimpse of the incision in the bathroom mirror because you don't own or have the money to buy a small hand mirror or the other supplies to ensure a proper recovery.
You can make a huge difference by putting these items together for CancerCare and these women. The Lumpectomy Kits consist of:

*A Thermometer
*A $10 CVS gift card
*A $10 phone card to call mom or best friend after the operation
CancerCare will package the items into kits, insert information about their support services and bring them to the local hospitals where the staff can distribute them to those in need.
