YUCK DAY- An eek-citing family eeks-perience!

Head to Earthplace Saturday, October 27th for a wonderfully yucky day! Creatures of the forest floor and birds of the nighttime forest will be featured at Yuck Day. Discover what's great about gross stuff like worms, pill bugs, fungus, rotting plants, dirt, and slimy slugs. Meet lots of live bugs and spiders, try new icky activities and create spooky crafts. Enjoy fun magic tricks from The Magic Genie at 1 PM and 1:45 PM. Meet extraordinary owls up close with rehabilitators from Wind Over Wings. Learn about the importance of yucky creatures through special exhibits and take a trail walk with an Earthplace naturalist to look for mushrooms, insects and other gross but great natural items. There will be food and plenty of Halloween cheer to await you. Don't miss the yuckiest family event in town!

Wind Over Wings will bring live owls from 12 - 4 PM
