Want to make a difference in your community? It’s a walk on the beach, literally. This Saturday, May 15, Homes with Hope presents their 9th annual Castles in the Sand build-a-thon at Compo Beach. Teams large and small will gather to sculpt sand under the sun and create castles for a cause. Registration fees benefit Homes with Hope and their local work to combat hunger and homelessness. It’s not too late to sign up, if sand castle building is your thing. Or just make a point to stop by and check out the castle building prowess of your neighbors. Don’t forget to ask for more information about Homes with Hope while you’re there.
