Suzy loves this time of year. Picnics and lemonade, the smell of the sun and ocean in her kiddos’ hair and, of course, parades! This year’s Memorial Day festivities will begin on Riverside Avenue, in front of Saugatuck Elementary School. Veterans, town officials, law enforcement, firefighters, local sports teams and organizations and some fab marching bands will march across the bridge to Town Hall. Revelers can congregate on the green across from Town Hall for a memorial service immediately following the parade. Expect music, flag waving and lots of fun. Join Suzy in supporting all our service men and women on Monday. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
