Wakeman Kid's Only Road Race

While the serious runners are gearing up for the Fairfield Half Marathon, kids aspiring to run the big race get their chance to run on Saturday. The Wakeman Torch Club is hosting a 2 mile road race on a flat course beginning and ending at Wakeman on Saturday, June 26 at 9:30 AM for grades 3 - 12.
Fee for the race is $15 with proceeds benefiting Action Against Hunger.
Prizes will be awarded to the top girl and boy finishers in three divisions: 3rd- 5th, 6th-8th & 9th-12th grade
They will be post-race bagels and fruit smoothies for all participants.
