Would you believe the Westport Country Playhouse is celebrating its 80th season? That’s a lot of theater. As luck would have it, 2010 is also the 80th season for classic clothier, Doncaster. Lucky for us, galpals, the two are teaming together for combined celebration. It’s a Sample Sale Extravaganza! That’s right, Suzy said Sample Sale! Doncaster style consultants will be on hand to help you find your way through over 600 samples of the current spring/summer collection. From apparel to accessories, business to casual, all items will be 40-50% off retail prices. Visit the opening night event on Tuesday, in the Smilow Lounge at the Playhouse and enjoy wines selected by Sandra Muller, paired with light appetizers from The Epicurean Caterers. A generous 10% of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the playhouse. If you can’t make it for opening night, don’t sweat it! The sale continues all day on Tuesday.
