Head south  to Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks in NYC, and view them anywhere you have an unobstructed view of the Hudson River. They will light up the sky over the Hudson River at 9:20 PM on the 4th for a 26-minute show. Macy’s even worked hard to make sure they got fireworks that reach higher in the air so it can be seen all over the city.

The best view will be on Manhattan’s West Side between 23rd and 59th Streets and along New Jersey’s water front.

For a price you can get front row seats of the action at a few prime locations. For $100 you can buy a ticket to watch the show from the USS Intrepid. Click here for details and tickets. The Hudson Terrace has a great evening planned with ticket packages starting at $150 per person. Purchase tickets here.
NY Waterway Tours and the Circle Line offer boat cruises to watch as well. Tickets here

This year's theme is American Harmony taking spectators through the history of American music. The New York Pops Orchestra and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir will perform, and there will be unique versions of classic patriotic tunes performed by Straight No Chaser, Broadway Inspirational Voices, U.S. Army Soldier’s Chorus, and United We Sing. If you're not in the area, NBC will also air a broadcast of the fireworks with live performances from Justin Bieber and others.
