There's nothing cuter than Trick or Treaters parading up and down main street in costume. Here's the scoop on area parades.
Westport
Wednesday, October 27, from 3 - 4 PM
The Westport Parks and Recreation Department, Downtown Merchants Association, and Westport Police Athletic League (PAL) will host the annual downtown Westport Halloween parade for children on Wednesday, October 27. The event will begin at 3 PM in front of the Westport Weston Family Y and ends at 4 PM on Veterans Green opposite Town Hall.
Children will march up Main Street, trick or treating along the way, making their way to Town Hall for more treats. Giveaways from Westport PAL and trick or treat bags from Parks and Recreation will be available.
Suzy Tip: Avoid parking on Main Street between Post Road East and Kings Highway North from 2 - 4 PM to make way for the trick or treaters.
Wilton
Saturday, October 30 from 2 - 4 PM
The Annual Halloween Walk in Wilton Center is from 2 til 4 PM. Trick or Treaters should meet at the gazebo for a short costume walk to show off their fabulous costumes. After the walk , trick or treat at the stores in the Wilton Center.
