A Winter Market

The weather may be turning cold, but the Westport Farmers Market heats up Fairfield County with the second year of the winter market at Gilbertie’s. The winter market starts this Thursday and will run November 17 – March 15, on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The heated greenhouse provides that needed escape from the winter chills. Fresh veggies, local cheese, milk, chicken, pork, lamb, beef, eggs, fish, baked goods are some of the fresh items you will find each Thursday. Get out of the cold and support local vendors, you just might run into the likes of Michel Nischan, Bill Taibe, Brian Lewis, Matt Storch and other chefs loading up on ingredients for their restaurants.
