"In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it..."
On Easter Sunday, rally to see Easter bonnets to the New York City extreme as "paraders" wander along Fifth Avenue from 49th to 57th Streets. The Easter Parade is more of a wander than a parade. A time for participants to gaze upon one another's extravagant bonnets.
From 10 AM - 4 PM the area along Fifth Avenue from 49th to 57th Streets is closed to vehicular traffic and the area around St. Patrick's Cathedral is the ideal place to see the parade.
