Connecticut Food Bank Needs Your Help This Thanksgiving

The Connecticut Food Bank needs your help to keep their warehouses stocked with food this Thanksgiving season.  Consider donating a frozen turkey and other items needed for a proper Thanksgiving.

Their food supply has dwindled significantly in the last few weeks and the demand for food assistance continues to be high.

If you would like to donate frozen turkeys, nonperishable items or make financial contributions to help your neighbors who are less fortunate, starting November 12th until November 16th, their extended weekday holiday hours are: 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., in our East Haven warehouse; and 8:30 to 5 p.m. in our Fairfield and Waterbury warehouses.

All three locations will be open Saturday, November 17th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday, November 18th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Either drop off food or support their special virtual food drive, by clicking here. You'll be helping to feed men, women and children in our towns and cities.
