Stand By Me Screening and Discussion

Battle your snow fatigue this week and warm up to a screening of one of the most iconic films about adolescence, Stand By Me. Co-presented by the Westport Arts Center and the Westport Youth Film Festival, the screening will be followed by a discussion with actress and former Ford model, Cynthia Gibb. Cynthia’s experience as a teen in the film industry will be central to the discussion. She’ll touch on how young people address the craft of acting, as well as the particular challenges acting poses for teens. It’s a do-not-miss event for teens interested in acting, and for their parents.
Buy tickets in advance, or at the door. Popcorn and other movie nosh will be for sale, too.
