Spring Break Day Programs
Enjoying a spring break stay-cation? Then Suzy thinks you might want to find some out-of-the-house activities for your kids to help pass the time. There are plenty close by, and they’re long enough for the kiddos to have fun and the moms to get a break. Sound good?

Here’s the skinny on spring break programs in our neck of the woods:
Earthplace: Kids can learn about bugs flowers during two days of drop off programs this week. Tuesday, April 19, kids will walk the trails at Earthplace, magnifying glasses in hand, to search for insects in their natural habitat. Wednesday, kids will enjoy another trail walk with a focus on finding and learning about flowers. Classes go from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and include a snack.
Cost: $40 per day for members, $50 per day for non-members.
All the details are here including some other special events for vacation week.

Stepping Stones: Kids take a trip to Cambodia this vacation week at Stepping Stones.  Stories, crafts, music and more are the focus this week, and each day kids will enjoy something a little different. Special vacation week events happen Monday through Friday at 11:30 AM and again at 2:30 PM.
Details, including a daily schedule, are available here.

Westport Historical Society: Kids will love the Creation Station this week, Monday through Thursday, at the Westport Historical Society. It’s a multi-media, 3-D workshop. Cartooning, painting, sewing, cooking, acting, sculpting and more are all on the menu this week, and so is a snack. But kids should bring a bag lunch. Pizza will be served on Thursday.
This program is for kids K-5th grade, and runs Monday, April 18 through Thursday, April 21, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Cost: $180 per child for the week for members, $200 per child for the week for non-members.
