During the event, Dr. Breus will be signing his latest book, The Sleep Doctor’s Diet Plan and speaking on how quality sleep can lead to more successful weight loss.

In The Sleep Doctor’s Diet Plan, women will get a greater understanding of how sleep is related to their weight, health, appearance, and learn simple and effective strategies to take control of their sleep and weight.

Dr. Breus will be discussing his top 5 Rules of good sleep hygiene:
-Stick to 1 Sleep Schedule – a regular rhythm = biological clock in sync!
-Starting at 2pm eliminate all caffeine — your eyes may close but the caffeine is stimulating your brain
-No alcohol within 3 hours of bedtime — alcohol initially makes you sleepy but it also interferes with   the deep stages of sleep, leading to fragmented sleep
-Stop exercising 4 hours before bed - 30 minutes of vigorous aerobic exercise can keep your body temp elevated for 4 hrs, which can inhibit sleep.
-Give the sun a high 5 every morning - 15 minutes of sun each day helps regulate melatonin production and resets your biological clock.
