Ready for an artsy, music filled weekend?
The SoNo Arts Celebration features 150 juried exhibiting fine artists & craftspersons this weekend in South Norwalk. Each artist will submit slides of their work and display booth, and is judged in one of 10 categories: painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, wood, ceramics, jewelry/metalsmithing, fiber, mixed media or glass. Artists are selected based on the quality and originality of their work and how they display it.
Friday, August 3, Kick-off Concert: 6 PM - Midnight
Saturday, August 4 and Sunday August 5, 10 AM - 6 PM
More than 25 performing artists, groups & troupes will entertain on three stages throughout the weekend of the Arts Celebration. The festival has selected acts for their diversity and performance art offering a diverse & eclectic array of genres. In addition to stage performers, there are musicians and children’s entertainers in the streets throughout the event.
During the SoNo Arts Celebration children are artists too! Bring your kids to the Children’s Art Playground and give them a chance to express their natural creativity as they work on their very own masterpieces. All of the projects are free and you get to keep the art. Children can also paint their Children’s Art Playground Murals.
