This weekend is busy with Communion sales and trunk shows. Here are two that Suzy recommends.
The Magic Garden
Once a year -- for one day only -- The Magic Garden boutique comes to Fairfield with a terrific selection of outfits for boys and girls.
This year the event takes place at St. Thomas Church.
Sunday February 10th, 10 AM-4 PM
In addition to a fabulous selection of Communion dresses in all styles and price ranges, you'll be able to purchase veils, shoes & sweaters. Brands include: US Angels, Susanne Lively, L'Etoile & Lauren Marie.
For the boys, there will be suits, blazers, pants, ties & shirts on sale. Brands include: Perry Ellis,IMP & Joseph Aboud.
Magic Garden is located on 6 Queen Street in Newtown (Big Y Plaza)

Susan Flynn Barksdale Designs
Back by popular demand, the owners of Susan Flynn Barksdale Designs, sisters Susan and Mary Kate, will be at the Darien Sport Shop on Saturday, February 9 from 1-3 p.m. for custom fittings of their exquisite line of First Communion dresses. The sisters' company, SFBDesigns, provides superior craftsmanship, high-quality fabrics and materials and exceptional customer service. Their designs can accommodate any special sizing needs or clothing accessibility concerns. All design work is done exclusively at the company's studio in Fairfield County .
