The Westport Historical Society takes you back in time this weekend with two terrific events. The Kings Highway Walking Tour, marches participants through some of Westport's oldest quarters and shares our collective history.
Local legends and lore are offered up on this guided walking tour, narrated by a local historian. Visit one of Westport's oldest homes and listen to the tale of Madam Sarah Knight's 1703 ride through town.
If long past doesn't interest you as much as your own history, then the memoir writing workshop is the event for you. Westport author and award-winning radio commentator, Jessica Bram (Happily Ever After Divorce), will conduct a two-hour workshop on how put your personal past into prose in a compelling way. No experience or advance preparation necessary.
