Is there anything better than fireworks at the beach?
Westport's Fireworks 2010 are scheduled for July 2 and will begin at approximately 9:15 PM.
Fireworks tickets are currently on sale at the Westport Parks and Recreation office during business hours (9 AM - 4:30 PM). They are also available at Police Headquarters any time. All tickets must be purchased in advance. The cost is $30 per car.
On the day of the fireworks Compo Beach will close at 4 p.m. and reopen at 5 p.m. for Fireworks ticket holders.
