What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?
Tuesday, December 28, 2010

There are plenty of places around our towns to welcome in 2011. Here are some of Suzy’s favorite ideas of how to spend the final moments of 2010 and ring in a brand New Year.
First Night in Westport promises family fun in spades. Music, food, and fireworks are just some of the highlights happening all over town. All the details, including how to get your tickets, are right here.
If you’re looking for some grown up fun, all the Barcelona restaurant locations are ringing in the New Year in style. DJs will be spinning at Barcelona’s SoNo, Greenwich and Stamford spots, and Fairfield. SoNo will have free tapas at the bar and $5.00 sangria all night. For more details, visit Barcelona’s website.
Or maybe you’re in the mood for a quieter, more romantic spot for the evening. Westport’s Riverhouse Tavern, nestled on the banks of the Saugatuck, is hosting a prix fixe New Year’s Eve dinner. You and your sweetie can cozy up next to the fireplace and enjoy a delicious meal from Chef Raul’s kitchen. To make your reservation, call 203-226-5532.
And if you’re in the mood to go a little farther afield, Thali restaurant in New Canaan will heat things up and welcome 2011 Bollywood style. A buffet style dinner will give way to dancing the night away to the sounds of DJAJ. All the details are here.
