The Great Duck Race

Get ready to get your quack on, galpals! Saturday, June 30, the Westport Sunrise Rotary Club’s annual “Great Duck Race” returns to the Saugatuck River. Parker Harding Plaza will be transformed into a summer party scene with live music, local eats, crafts and bounce houses for the kids, duck decorating and more.
Then, at 1 p.m., up to 3,000 ducks will be released into the Saugatuck River for a duckie derby like you’ve never seen. First place duck wins a $5,000 Visa gift card, second place duck wins a $1,000 Visa gift card, and third through tenth place ducks win $500 Visa gift cards.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Westport Sunrise Rotary’s social services and charitable works both locally and internationally.
