Are You Ready to be Amazed?
After more than two years of planning and construction, and just when we're all searching for indoor fun, Stepping Stones Museum for Children is re-opening on Saturday November 20th bigger and better than ever.

The museum doubled in size and was rebuilt to be environmentally friendly. Energy-themed education and learning extends throughout the museum’s new exhibits, galleries and programming as well.

The museum didn't only get greener, it's also much more tech savvy.  Among the most amazing attractions is the technologically unique Multimedia Gallery designed to help prepare children for our ever changing world. Programs will include distance learning (visitors via Skype!), live performances, interactive games, short films, youth-hosted forums and the opportunity to connect with children, communities and cultures around the world.

Old favorites Build It!, Healthyville and Rainforest Adventure join new exhibit Energy Lab,  a futuristic, wet and windy environment that will inspire children to explore and invent while learning about the science of energy and energy sources.

Infants and Toddlers will go crazy for Tot Town, designed to promote literacy for little learners. Nursery rhymes play a large role in Tot Town as they are placed throughout the exhibit. Watch them use all their skills and senses to investigate and explore this imaginary world.

The fun doesn't end inside, outside the museum, the Community Garden features an array of individual mini-gardens and a trio of whimsical, 12-foot tall, renewable energy-powered musical sculptures.  Rounding out the expansion is a larger and more robust parent and teach resource center, an all new art studio, a science lab, an expanded Café (Suzy hears it's delish!) and the Age of Reason museum store.
