Renowned sommelier Amy Dixon helps bring First Thursdays back to the Westport Playhouse. Fine Wine Buyer for Stew Leonard’s Wines, Amy is known as the Blind Sommelier. Having lost her eyesight in adulthood, she often presents wine-based events and fundraisers for eyesight related research or support for guide dog programs. This First Thursday event will feature a wine tasting with wines selected by Amy and lunch by Matsu Sushi. Raffles by wellness expert Geri Zatcoff and board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Rosenthal benefit the Lyons Club International, Westport branch, whose special cause is eyesight health and awareness.
