Greenwich Youth Film Festival
The Junior League of Greenwich, in partnership with the Greenwich Library, has created the Greenwich Youth Film Festival (GYFF). The goal of this new film contest is to encourage high school students in Fairfield County, CT, and Westchester County, NY, to express themselves in a positive way through the art of film.

Film and video entries are now being accepted at Junior League Greenwich in five genres:
Creative
Music Video
Animation
Documentary
Public Service Announcement

$4,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the five category winners, one of whom will be named the overall winner of the GYFF. The Junior League of Greenwich has secured a top line up of judges including: Ron Howard for Creative, Blue Sky Studios for Animation, Clayton Pecorin for Documentary, Gretchen Carlson for Public Service Announcement and Jeff Cardoni for Music Video.

The GYFF contest ends on February 17, 2012.
The winners will be announced at the Greenwich Youth Film Festival event, which will take place on April 28th, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Cole Auditorium in the Greenwich Library. Top film and video submissions from each genre will be shown. The event will also include a panel of film industry professionals. For more details, please visit the Junior League of Greenwich.
