It isn’t everyday that you get to meet an artistic legend, let alone one who worked with arguably the biggest and most transformative force in 20th century music, The Beatles.
Filmmaker and Weston resident, Al Brodax, produced the groundbreaking “Yellow Submarine,” the 1968 animated film which featured music by the Fab Four.
Friday, April 13, the Westport Arts Center will host a screening of the film, preceded by a live introduction by Brodax. The audience will be invited to ask questions and the conversation will be moderated by Sumner Jules Glimcher, emeritus professor at NYU.
Which means this may be your chance to find out who the Walrus really was.
The evening, which will also include live music, finger foods and plenty of art, is all happening to support the Westport Youth Film Festival.
