Teens and Allergies

The Food Allergy Initiative Connecticut will present "Managing Your Food Allergies: A Seminar for Teens and Young Adults" this Tuesday at the Weston Library from 7 - 9 PM.
Jill S. Greenberg, a local psychologist who has counseled families affected by food allergies, will facilitate the program. Scott Sicherer, a physician, researcher and author, will speak about food-allergic teenagers and risky behavior. In addition, a panel of five middle school, high school and college students will discuss their personal experiences and offer tips for coping with food allergies.
