Looking for something different to do with the kids? Check out Olafur Eliasson's four man-made waterfalls rising from New York Harbor, some as high as the Statue of Liberty. Commissioned by the Public Art Fund, these four electrically-powered waterfalls are strategically located so that they are all visible from the South Street Seaport. The installation runs from June 26th to October 15th.
Where:
Pier 35 in Manhattan (just North of the Williamsburg Bridge).
Under the Brooklyn Bridge, near the Brooklyn anchorage
Brooklyn, between Piers 4 and 5 (near Atlantic Avenue)
Just off Governor's Island.
Hours: 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM and will be lit after sunset.
