Play with Your Food Tickets On Sale Today

The always-popular seasonal production of "Play with Your Food" has an Fall lunch-time run coming up. Tickets go on on sale TODAY at 10 AM. They won't last long. Take a galpal and enjoy a long lunch.
A "Taste" of the American Musical, developed by Westport resident, Arthur Gang, will be presented on Wednesdays, October 15th, November 12th and December 3rd from 12N - 1:30 PM. Utilizing live performances, film clips and music, Art will share with audiences history, anecdotes and legends of those uniquely American cultural institutions—Broadway and film musicals. In keeping with the Play With Your Food tradition, box lunches will be served, catered by Abbondanza, Balducci's and Garelick & Herbs, respectively.
Each A "Taste" of the American Musical program runs from 12N - 1:30 PM and includes a box lunch. Paid reservations are required.

Additionally, the box office is now open for the winter 2008-2009 series subscription of Play With Your Food. Combining a gourmet buffet lunch with professional actors reading one-act plays, Play With Your Food has been entertaining capacity crowds at lunchtime for the past six years at Westport's Toquet Hall.
The dates for this upcoming winter series of Westport performances are Tuesdays through Thursdays, January 13th, 14th, 15th; February 3rd, 4th, 5th; March 3rd, 4th, 5th and March 31st, April 1st, 2nd. The series also will be offered at the Fairfield Theatre Company and the Greenwich Arts Council. Among the treats planned are plays by Award winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire (writer of Broadway's newest soon to be hit, 'Shrek'), Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies, Academy Award winner Ted Tally, and Play With Your Food favorites Rosemary Foley and Fred Stroppel.
