YMCA of the USA, an America On the Move national partner, supports STEPtember in almost every state from coast to coast. About 1,400 YMCAs have a variety of fun-filled events and activities planned during America On the Move Week with the YMCA from September 20-27, 2008.
Through this partnership, America On the Move and the YMCA hope to inspire individuals and families to incorporate healthier living activities into their daily routine by making small changes to their activity levels.
The goal is to reach 10 billion steps across the U.S. during this designated week.
