Kayak For A Cause IX returns for another day of adventure on Saturday, July 25th.
Kayak for A Cause was created as a way to blend love of the sport with a commitment to helping good causes. Each year, kayakers join together to cross Long Island Sound and raise money for their favorite charities, most of which work to protect our local waters, environment and community. Even if you've never picked up a paddle, you can help by supporting paddlers and donating.
This year, they are paddling from Huntington, Long Island to Norwalk, Connecticut.
WHEN: Saturday, July 25th
WHERE: Crab Meadow Beach, Northport, NY to Calf Pasture Beach, Norwalk, Connecticut
WHAT: A first-class charity event where hundreds of Kayakers cross Long Island Sound and thousands of spectators cheer them on to reach their donation goal
Event followed by Legendary KFAC Beach Party at Calf Pasture Beach (Norwalk, CT) complete with Lobsterbake & Music from... DONAVON FRANKENREITER plus Morley, PJ Pacifico, Every Good Boy, and Barnstorm. Band-tastic!
