It's that festive time of year when Westporters dig deep into their pockets and give generously to their local government. That's right, galpals; the first installment of Westport property taxes is due Monday, August 3. So be grateful for the Dow's little bounce over 9000 last week and head on over to the Taxman's office in Town Hall and fork it over. You can also pay online or over the phone. And look on the bright side; at least we don't live in New Jersey.
