Camp Out for Critters, Family Event to Benefit the Animals at Earthplace
Ahoy Mateys! Sail your vessel on over to Earthplace for this year"s Campout for the Critters, featuring a pirate theme! The festivities will begin at 3 PM on Saturday, September 15th and continue through 9 AM Sunday, September 16.

The event begins at 3 PM as families arrive and pitch their tents in the Earthplace field by the bear statue. At 4 PM all the children are grouped by age and taken along to one of several fun activities. They'll play some fun pirate games, create pirate projects and meet live animals. Everyone will enjoy a scrumptious dinner around 6 PM, and then the special performance by Nappy"s Puppets will begin. The evening will end with everyone gathering around the campfire to enjoy s"mores before heading off to sleep in their tents. Wake up on Sunday for a continental breakfast to wrap up this fun family event.

The campout and activities will take place rain or shine. If the weather is uncooperative, we can rough it inside the Museum building. You don"t even have to spend the night to enjoy all the fun, so, shiver ye timbers and get thee signed up!

Make your reservations early to guarantee your space beneath the stars while you help to support the many animal ambassadors that call Earthplace home. For more information, call Linda Roberts at 227-7253.
