Authors at the Library: Wendy Walker's latest novel, Social Lives
Monday, October 05, 2009

Ponzi schemes, parties and privilege—oh my! It's all inside local author Wendy Walker's latest novel, Social Lives. Money makes for drama and the Connecticut suburbs are no stranger to either. And both figure prominently in Social Lives. This Wednesday, Walker will be at the Westport Library to discuss Social Lives and the issues it examines, mainly "how the world of money and privilege affects the women who inhabit it, bringing to light the family dynamics it corrupts, the glittering cages it creates, and most poignantly, the lengths some will go to keep it in their grasps." Sounds juicy, doesn't it?
