Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot
Sunday, October 21, 2007
A tradition for many local families, the Pequot Road Runners Turkey Trot allows many of us an extra serving of stuffing later in the day.
Don't wait to register, the deadline is Tuesday, November 13.
Start your holiday with a five mile flat, fast run, starting at Wakeman Boys and Girls Club, winding through the narrow streets of the infamous "Gold Coast"
Not a runner? How about an invigorating 2.7 mile fitness walk
Whatever your preference, many will in turn be thankful for your participation.
The charities that benefit from this race include:
Wakeman Boys and Girls Club
Fairfield Community Services
Domestic Violence and Crisis Center
Westport EMS
Laddie Lawrence Scholarship Fund
