Namaste, galpals. Suzy has been patiently awaiting the opening of the Kaia Yoga wellness center in Westport. You, too? Well, our patience has been rewarded; Kaia Yoga is now open for business. And lucky us, because this place is the real Zen deal. This weekend, Suzy grabbed her mat and gave the place a test drive.
The space is light, airy and sparsely furnished, a physical manifestation of the inner spaciousness yoga practice can elicit. Plus, there’s a cute shop with yoga gear, books and more. Suzy felt happy and welcomed just signing in for class.
Owned and operated by Gina and Stan Woodman, both yoga teachers themselves, Kaia Yoga focuses on the overall wellness of self, community and family. To that end, they offer much more than standard classes and cute pants. From workshops to retreats, teacher trainings to children’s classes this wellness center’s focus is on cultivating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Look for their organic café to open at the end of the month.
