Wet Kisses and Dirty Paws” AKC® Responsible Dog Ownership Day

Come celebrate the tail-end of the summer on Saturday, September 4th at “Wet Kisses and Dirty Paws” AKC® Responsible Dog Ownership Day, sponsored by the Easton Leo Club in collaboration with Trap Falls Kennel Club. The event will be held from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Samuel Staples Elementary School Athletic Fields.
Dogs are encouraged to drop by with their owners and not only learn how to be better owners but have a ball competing in competitions like best kisser with man’s best friend. There will also be lots of doggin’ around playing games at the Kid Zone. The raffle has such great prizes like Gucci America handbag, weekends away and tickets to the Westport Country Playhouse. There is also a silent auction, book signing, food and drink for both man and dog, and fun vendors.
It is going to be one dog-gone filled day benefiting both the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, which breeds, raises and trains German Shepherds for the visually impaired, and the new Town of Easton Animal Shelter.
Admission is $4 for adults, kids under 12 are free.
