Cyberbullying and Name-Calling: What Children Wish Their Parents Knew

Cyberbullying has made headlines recently highlighting the tragic consequences that can result from this behavior. Marji Lipshez-Shapiro, Anti-Defamation League’s Director of Education, will share the insights she has gained from working with young people across the state with the Names Will Hurt Us program during an interactive session for parents of children in grades K-8. She will explain how every child is involved in bullying, by sharing the four key roles that people play in instances of bullying, and will discuss prevention and intervention strategies for parents.
