Café d’Azur: Like a Mini Dining Vacation
Suzy is forever lamenting the lack of really great, really kid-friendly restaurants in the area. But no more. Café d’Azur in Darien is Suzy’s latest solution to eating well while eating out with kids. It’s a Mediterranean bistro with an extensive menu offering authentic dishes to delight just about everyone.

The atmosphere is casually elegant, and the staff is focused on keeping everyone comfortable and happy. Kick off your meal with a little homemade hummus, tabouleh and falafel starters, as you peruse the menu and consider dishes like fresh, pan-seared tilapia or merguez over couscous.
Café d’Azur offers ham and cheese crepes and simple pasta dishes for the less adventurous and under 12 set, which makes a mom feel most welcome.  So too, does Café d’Azur’s offer of a free children’s entrée with the purchase of an adult entrée, an offer that’s good Monday through Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Or, if you’re lucky enough to indulge in a galpal’s night out, Wednesday evenings Café d’Azur will give you 50 percent off a bottle of wine while you dine with your date or with your best friend.

This little slice of Mediterranean life is available at lunchtime, too.

Take a look at Café d’Azur’s menu here, or call them at (203) 202-9520 to make a reservation.
